Charles "Sweet Charlie" Milton Jr., of West Haven, CT, journeyed to join the ancestors on Tuesday, July 3, 2025. He was born June 17, 1950, in Bridgeport, CT to the late Charles Milton and Eunice Taylor Milton.
Educated in the Bridgeport school system, he then joined the United States Air Force in 1969 during the Vietnam Era, where he was an airman and prep cook. He held various jobs throughout his lifetime including 19 years as a tailor and sales leader at Mr. Jerry's Ltd and 19 years as a line cook at Chili's Grill & Bar. He was also the proud owner of his very own janitorial service for many years.
"Sweet Charlie" was loved by many and will be remembered for many things, including his eye for fashion, witty sense of humor and love of dancing. In his younger days, he was often referred to as the "best dressed" and the "mayor". He loved taking trips to Georgia to visit family. Everyone who knew him knows he was always the life of the party. Where there was music, there was Charlie burning up the dance floor. He will be missed immensely.
