Cenia Nereida Caraballo

Cenia Nereida Caraballo-Santiago, affectionately known as "Neri," age 82, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, passed away peacefully at her home on September 1, 2024. Born in Lares, Puerto Rico, to the late Ramon Caraballo and Ana Celia Santiago, she was raised in Puerto Rico before relocating to Bridgeport at the age of 18.

Neri was a devoted wife to her late spouse, Jose Luna, and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her eight children: Naida Fontanez, Marisol Fontanez, Mary Lou James, Samuel Garcia, Lori Fontanez, Frank Fontanez, Rene Fontanez, and David Garcia, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were cherished and united by her love. Neri will be truly missed by all who knew her.

Interment will follow at Mount Grove Cemetery, where Neri will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband.
