Carol Ann Jacobs, age 65, of Bridgeport, CT died suddenly at her home on May 14th, 2012. Born on April 7th, 1947 in Bridgeton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Matthew Jacobs and Sarah Ann Govann. She attended Bridgeton Schooling and then later relocated to Bridgeport, CT. Carol was a strong individual. She was an outspoken but at the same time a humble lady. Throughout her life she had a love for cooking and gardening and worked very hard all her life. She even worked after retiring as a cashier at her recent employment - Bed, Bath &Beyond in Fairfield, CT. Carol will always be remembered for her fun, loving but tough personality and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Besides her parents Carol was predeceased by three sons, Mathias "Peter" Jacobs, Micah Jacobs and Mark Jacobs. She is survived by two sons, Makene and Marquis Jacobs (Veronica) of Bridgeport, CT, one daughter,Sarah Ann Jacobs, of Norwalk, CT, three grandchildren, Jamel and Angela Jacobs of Bridgeport CT, Micah Jacobs Jr. of Norwalk, Ct and 1 great grand daughter,Jaida Jacobs of Hamden, CT. She also leaves to cherish six sisters: LindaJacobs-Robinson, Michelle Jacobs-Cochran, Gail Jacobs-Bailey, Mattie Jacobs-Hunter, Martina Jacobs-Marcus, Tammie Jacobs-Pierce and one brother Matthew Jacobs Jr. all of Bridgeton, NJ and a host nieces, nephews, cousins,and friends.
