Carmen Dolores Velazquez

Carmen Dolores Velazquez, age 71 of Bridgeport, the wife of Angel Manuel Velazquez, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Bridgeport Hospital, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Carmen was born September 15, 1945, in Camuy, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Rojelio Marcial and Alejandrina Deida. Carmen was a loving mother who enjoyed helping others. She will be remembered for how humble and caring she was, along with her ability to bring joy to all those around her. Carmen will be deeply missed by all. Besides her husband of 46 years, Carmen is survived by: children, Javier Velazquez; Betzaida Velazquez Morales; Angel Javier Velazquez; siblings; Jeodora Marcial; Cruz Rivera; Leonida Marcial; grandchildren, Jennifer Morales; Javier Morales; Hector Zayas Jr.; John Zayas; Miraya M. Zayas; two great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.
