Carmen Vargas

Carmen Vargas, age 58 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest Friday February 14, 2015 at Bridgeport Hospital, with her loving family by her side. Carmen was a loving mother of four, and the companion of Efren Marrero for 39 year. Carmen was kind hearted she would open her doors for anyone that was in need of shelter, she enjoyed bingo, picnics and parties. She was well known for her forgiving heart and sense of humor. Carmen was born on Tuesday March 27, 1956 in Isabela, Puerto Rico to the late Mariano Vargas and Providencia Rosa. Carmen leaves to cherish her memory her loving companion Efren Marrero, Four children; Jose Soto & daughter-in- law Sofia Soto, Michelle Cardona & son-in-law Jose Rodriguez, Carmen Marrero, Milagros Marrero, six siblings, Cruz Dumeng, Santa Vargas & brother-in-law Luis Torres, Mariana Lopez & brother-in-law, Ana Vargas, William Vargas & sister-in-law Nancy DeJesus, Marisol Vargas; eight grandchildren, Efren Leon, Joseph Soto, Estrella Soto, Josiah Soto, Luis Rodriguez, Alani Torres, Iris Correa, Jose Soto Jr., along with a host of extended family and friends. Carmen reunites with her parents and two brothers, Angel Vargas and Santo Vargas.
