Carmen Gloria Candelario, age 87, of Bridgeport, CT entered eternal rest on January 10, 2021 in her home in Bridgeport, CT. On July 15, 1933 Carmen was welcomed into the world by her beloved parents Jose Gutierrez and Juanita Rodriguez in Isabella, Puerto Rico. Carmen was raised in a large household she was the second of twenty-two siblings. Carmen migrated to NY. in the 50's and worked as a machine operator in various factories. She worked hard to provide for her children. Carmen was a loving and stern mother that kept her sons on the righteous path of life. Carmen is survived by: sons, Juan J. Vega (Juanita), Jorge L. Vega (Ramona); siblings, Catalina Figueroa, Pedro Gutierrez, Aurelio Gutierrez, Hilda Clavelo, Geraldo Gutierrez Cesar Gutierrez, Candida Gutierrez, Daniel Gutierrez; 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends that will cherish her memory. Friends may greet the family Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and Friday, January 15, 2021 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Interment will proceed at Mt. Grove Easton Cemetery.
