Carmen Maria Dejesus

Carmen M. DeJesus, age 91, of Bridgeport, CT; the widow of Ramon Cabrera, passed into peaceful rest Wednesday, February 23, 2022 surrounded by the love and care of her family at her home. Carmen was born on April 2,1930 and raised by her father the late Nicolas Santiago in Guayama, Puerto Rico. Carmen was raised in the Christian faith. She met and married Ramon Cabrera. Carmen was a mother of 4 that loved to cook. She worked in the school system in Puerto Rico as a nutritionist for many years. In Carmen's last 30 years she resided with her beloved daughter, Carmen Rivera in Bridgeport, CT and embraced her granddaughter and great grandchildren. Carmen Rivera is survived by her daughter Carmen Rivera, her granddaughter Iris Agosto, her great grandchildren Naysha Rivera and Jayon Agosto and extended family and friends that will cherish her memory.
