Carmelo Rivera, Age 82, of Bridgeport, entered the gates of heaven Tuesday, August 20th, 2013. Carmelo worked in various factories in Bridgeport. He enjoyed singing and playing guitar in his pass time. Carmelo was born July, 29th, 1931 in Hatillo, Puerto Rico. He was the second child born of nine children to the late Antonio Rivera & Felipa Garcia. Carmelo is survived by, five sister Estlita Rivera, Estella Acevedo, Raquel Soto, Carmen Gloria Rivera, Olga Iris Rivera, three brothers, Hiram Rivera, Restituto Rivera, Israel Rivera and a host of extended family and friends.
