Carlos Manuel Velez Carlos Manuel Velez, age 45, of Waterbury Connecticut, entered into peaceful rest, Thursday, March 17th, 2011 in Waterbury Hospital. Carlos was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on January 13th, 1966 to the late Carlos Velez and surviving mother, Georgina Caamao. Carlos was loving and very helpful to all who knew him. He was a great father and leaves to cherish his memories his only son, Carlos Velez Jr. as well as his lifelong companion, Ivette Diaz for sixteen years. Carlos was number six of twelve siblings. He is survived by Nery Velez of Waterbury, CT, Norberto & sister-in-law Maritza Velez of Texas, Miguel Velez of Waterbury, CT, Iris Velez & Luis Denisa of Waterbury, CT, Olga Velez of Waterbury, Alfredo & Gloria Velez of Puerto Rico, Jose Velez of Waterbury and Loyda Velez & Oscar Sanchez of Boston, Mass. There will be a memorial service in honor of Carlos on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Community Funeral Chapels, 798 Park Ave., BPT., CT.
