Carlos Jermaine 'Country' Horton

Carlos Jermaine Horton, age 43 of Bridgeport, CT; husband of Alexis Tisdale Horton, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 7, 2019 at the Northbridge Health Care Center, surrounded by the love and comfort of his wife. Carlos was born January 20, 1976 in Carthage, North Carolina; the beloved son of the late William Penn Brower & Joyce Marie Horton. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. Carlos, affectionately known as Country, loved to travel, shop, and listen to music. He was an excellent barber and took pride while he made his clients look and feel good. Carlos always had a smile on his face, especially while spending time with his family and friends sharing good food and conversation. He rode his motorcycle every chance he had and was always ready for an adventure. Carlos went to school in North Carolina and later received his CDL Trucking license from NETTS in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Carlos is survived by: wife, Alexis Tisdale Horton; 6 children; 5 brothers; 3 sisters; 1 grandchild; father-in-law; mother-in-law; 7 sisters-in-law; 4 brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; and a host of extended family & friends that will cherish his memory.
