Carlos Manuel 'Mecha' Cruz

Carlos Manuel Cruz, age 60, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 14, 2014 at St. Vincent's Hospital. Carlos had a great sense of humor, happy all the time and was always the center of attention. Enjoyed telling stories and dancing. Carlos was born on Monday, April 13, 1953 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, the fifth child of the late Ruben Cruz and Carmen Morales. Carlos is survived by children; Charles Cruz, Carlos Cruz Jr., Karla Cruz, Jenitza Cruz, Iris Lopez, Carmen Cruz and Yomayra Cruz. Carlos also is survived by his siblings; Carmen I. Cruz, Lydia E. Cruz and Elizabeth Rapone. Carlos leaves to treasure his memories to a host of grandchildren, extended family and friends. In death, Carlos will be reunited with his sister, Maria Santoni and brother, Jose A. Cruz. Carlos will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
