Brunilda 'Bruni' Quesada

Brunilda Quesada, age 84 of Bridgeport, loving widow of Nelson Quesada, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Bridgeport Hospital, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Brunilda was born August 5, 1935 in Ponce, Puerto Rico; the beloved daughter of the late Manuel Rodriguez Salas & Maria Magdalena Muez Camps. Brunilda or "Bruni" as she was better known was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a strong and hardworking woman. Growing up the oldest of five, Bruni helped raise her younger siblings. She was employed for many years as a machine operator for a manufacturing company. Bruni was a great cook and loved preparing meals for her family. She had a kind and compassionate heart which will be missed deeply by all who had the honor of knowing her. In addition to her parents, and Nelson, her husband of 49 years, Bruni was predeceased by her: son, Wilson Ripoll; brother, Francisco Rodriguez; and sister, Virgenmina Rodriguez. Bruni is survived by her: son, Richard Quesada & daughter-in-law Evelyn; son, William Ripoll; daughter, Idalyn Vargas & son-in-law Antonio; son, Nelson Quesada Jr.; daughter, Leslie Farnham & son-in-law Brian; daughter, Brenda Castro; son, Saul Quesada & daughter-in-law Diane; daughter, Janet Quesada & son-in-law Wilson Quesada; sister, Miriam Rodriguez; brother, Manuel Rodriguez; twenty-one grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.
