Brittany Zaire Simmonds age 20 of Bridgeport, entered peaceful rest Monday, May 18, 2015 at Yale New Haven Hospital with her loving family by her side. Brittany was a sweet cuddly Angel sent from heaven. Loveable Brittany was a member of Bridgeport Tabernacle Seven Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed traveling, she favored Myrtle Beach. Brittany was a student at Feroleto School she loved listening to stories and music. Brittany was born Saturday, May 13, 1995 in Baltimore, Maryland to her loving parents Leroy & Contrinia Simmonds. Besides her parents Brittany is survived by: paternal grandparents, Lanzel & Winniefred Simmonds of SC.; maternal grandmother, Barbra Johnson; sister, Brienne Simmonds; and a host of extended family and friends that will cherish her sweet memories. Friends may greet the family Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. A Home Going Celebration will proceed from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Bridgeport Tabernacle Seven Day Adventist Church 717 Clinton Ave. Bridgeport, CT. 06604. Interment will be held privately.
