Brenda Ceballos

Brenda Ceballos Brenda Ceballos, age 40, of Bridgeport, CT, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010 at home with her husband by her side. Brenda fought a courageous battle with Ovarian cancer for over a year and a half. She worked at the Jewish Home for the Elderly in Fairfield, CT as a CNA for many years. She loved taking care of people. She was admired and loved by all who knew her, for her compassion and caring heart. The family wants to thank everyone that came into their lives over the past several months, Yale New Haven Hospital and the Cancer Center, St. Vincents Hospital and Swim Across the Sound, Cancer Care of CT. She leaves to cherish her memories; devoted husband Orlando Ceballos Sr., her children, Orlando Ceballos, Jr., Elizabeth Ceballos and her grandson Jaeden Gonzales all of Bridgeport. She will also be missed by her parents Ramon and Yvonne Merced, one of the founders of the Rainbow Restaurant in Bridgeport, her sister Melissa Merced and her aunt Arlenne OBrien and her husband Mark OBrien, uncles; Lorenzo Merced, Victor Luciano & wife Dina Merced, Sister in-laws; Silvia Ceballos, Luz Ceballos, her mother in-law, Genoveva Ceballos, and her best friend Beverly Walker all from Bridgeport. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousin and friends. Brenda was pre-deceased by uncle Alberto Merced and aunt Santi Merced Sala. Service will be held Saturday, March 6th, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in Community Funeral Chapels. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow to St. Charles Church, 1279 East Main St., BPT. Interment will proceed to St Michael, 2205 Stratford Ave. Stratford. Friends may meet the family Friday, March 5th, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Community Funeral Chapels, 798 Park Ave, BPT.
