Bernadette Brelsford

Bernadette C. Brelsford, age 70, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of William "Bill" entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 21, 2016. Bernie loved life and her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a parishioner of St. Patrick's Church as well as a member of the Women Auxiliary Moose Lodge #289 and participated in the Golden Follies. She enjoyed art and painting while residing at Astoria Park. Bernadette was born December 17, 1945 in Bridgeport, CT. the beloved daughter of the late Stephen & Mary Elizabeth Seffick. Besides her parents Bernadette was also predeceased by son, Vincent E. Mays and daughter, Ingrid Rosemari Brelsford. Bernadette is survived by: daughter, Ann Marie & son-in-law William Davis; sister, Ann Tzanavaris, brother, Stephen C. Seffick; two grandchildren, Jacqueline Davis and William Davis; great grandchild Lilyana Romero; nephews, George Tzanavaris and Marc Tzanavaris; and cousin Linda Zerella. Friends are invited to attend her memorial on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 10 am to 12:pm at the Community Funeral Chapels, 798 Park Avenue, Bridgeport. Interment will follow to Lakeview Cemetery 885 Boston Ave. Bridgeport.
