Benedicta 'Benita' Aviles

Benedicta "Benita" Aviles, age 82 of Bridgeport, passed into heavenly rest on November 15, 2022 at Maefair Health Care Center Trumbull, CT. with her loving family by her side. Benedicta was born on April 8, 1940 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico; the beloved daughter of the late Isidra Fernandez. Benita was raised in a Catholic household, she learn many Puerto Rican traditions such as cooking, sewing and gardening to name a few. She was always kind and pleasant regardless of her daily afflictions. Benita was a loving daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, mother, grandmother & friend. Benedicta is survived by: 5 children, 4 siblings, 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends that will cherish her memory.
