Axel Colon

Axel Colon age 51, of Norwalk entered into peaceful rest Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Norwalk Hospital. Axel was born November 14th, 1961 in Ponce, Puerto Rico the fifth of eight children born to Julio and Esther Colon. Axel was always the life of the party he loved dancing and music and lived to entertain others. Axel's vibrant fun loving personality drew people to him and his smile, fierce hugs and boisterous laughter will be missed by all who had the joy and pleasure of knowing him. Axel is survived by his large and loving family; his adoring mother, Esther; his siblings and their spouses, Martha Rivera and husband, Milton Pion of Norwalk, Julio and wife, Mirza Colon of Ponce, PR, Margie and husband, Raul Garcia of Norwalk, Russell Colon and wife, Sandra Diaz of Bridgeport, Carmen Colon and Robert Colon both of Ponce, PR and Joel Colon of Norwalk as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends whose lives Axel enriched and in whose memories he will always live on. As per his final wishes Axel returns to the land of his birth where he reunites with his previously deceased father Julio.
