Awildo Perez Awildo Perez, age 56, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Awildo, a resident of Bridgeport since 1976, was employed at Sodexho as a chef for 32 years, an active member of St. Lukes St. Paul Episcopal Church. Awildo was a loyal husband and provider to Maria Perez for 33 years and their children Jamie, Geraldo, Jose, Judith Basco and grandchildren Angelica, Elany Basco & Juelv Crespo. He is survived by mother Isabel Rivera, was a brother to Diosdado, Iris, Sergio, Angel Navarro and Ada Perez with many nieces and nephews. Awildo was predeceased by father Agapito Perez. The family will receive friends Friday, November 28, 2008 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Saint Lukes Saint Paul Episcopalian Church, located at 594 Kossuth St. Bpt., CT. and also on Sunday, in Borinquen Memorial, Caguas, Puerto Rico. Interment on Monday, December 1, 2008 at Borinquen Memorial Park, Caguas, Puerto Rico. Arrangements are entrusted to Mrs. Brenda Ortiz of Community Funeral Chapels, 798 Park Ave., Bpt., CT.
