Ausberto Salinas 'Berto' Soto

Ausberto Salinas Soto, age 65, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, May 15th, 2013 at st. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT. Ausberto was born in Maunabo, PR on Sunday, February 8th, 1948, the beloved son of Higinio and Florencia Salinas. In 1969 Ausberto moved to New York where he worked for many years as a printer before making Bridgeport his home. Independent by nature Berto was always happy to help others. He enjoyed entertaining and cooking for family gatherings, bike riding and fishing. His warm smile and gentle manner will be missed by all who knew him. Ausberto is survived by his siblings; Angel Luis Salinas, Onelia Soto, Santo Salinas, Santos Salinas, Margarita Salinas, Simeon Salinas, Mariana Salinas, Madeline Salinas, Evelyn Salinas, Israel Salinas, Hector Salinas, Miriam Rodriguez, his adored nephew, Joel Soto and a host of extended family and friends in whose memory he shall always live on. In death Ausberto reunites with his beloved parents, Higinio and Florencia and his previously deceased siblings.
