Auria Lydia Hernandez

Auria Lydia Hernandez, age 77 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 25, 2019 at Bridgeport Hospital, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Auria Lydia was born May 23, 1941 in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico; the beloved daughter of the late Francisco Hernandez & Maria Inez Hernandez. In addition to her parents, Auria Lydia was predeceased by her brother, Francisco Hernandez. Auria Lydia was a loving and dedicated mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed making meals for her family. She had a fondness for birds and feeding them was her pastime hobby. Auria Lydia loved music, dance, played cards, bingo, and other games at Lord Chamberlain Nursing Home where she lived happily. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. Auria Lydia is survived by her: son, Wilfred Villanova; two daughters, Elizabeth & Marisa Vilanova; three brothers, Rafael, Luis, & Antonio Hernandez; two sisters, Carmen & Ana Hernandez; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory. Ella fue una excelente cocinera y le encantaba cocinar para su familia. Auria Lydia le encantaba la musica y la danza. Ella le encantaba los pajaros y dndole de comer. Tambin el bingo y los juegos en Lord Chamberlain nursing home donde estaba viviendo feliz. Ella le har falta a los que tuvieron el honor de conocerla. Auria Lydia es sobrevivida por su hijo, Wilfred Villanova; y dos hijas, Elizabeth & Marisa Vilanova; tres hermanos Rafael, Luis, & Antonio Hernandez; dos hermanas, Carmen & Ana Hernandez; doce nietos; seis bisnietos; y toda su familia extendida y amistades que la recordarn siempre.
