Augusto Santos

Augusto F. Santos, age 89, of Bridgeport entered into heavenly rest Thursday, October 2nd, 2014 at Astoria Park. Augusto was a very easy going, joyful and loving person. He enjoyed doing various activities like soccer, bicycling, walking and traveling with his wife Margaret Santos of over 40 years of marriage. Augusto will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Augusto was born on Wednesday, November 26th, 1924 in St. Nicholas, Cape Verde Island to the late Joan Baptista and Ana Lopes. Augusto joins in heaven her brother; Marcelino Santos. Augusto is survived by his devoted wife, Margaret Santos, his children; Linda Halder, Diane Monteiro and Nazario Santos, siblings; Jenny Medina, Losalet Ferreira, Antonio Ferreira, Elginado Ferreira, Aldo DoSantos and Edla Brito. Augusto also leaves to cherish her memories to a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
