Aubrey Lovely Vilar

Aubrey Lovely Vilar age 14, passed away on Monday November 16, 2020, at Yale New Haven Hospital. Aubrey was born July 19, 2006 in New Haven, CT to Yajaira Flores and Jason Vilar both of Bridgeport, CT. Aubrey was a caring girl who brought smiles and laughter to everyone that she graced with her presence. To her family she was the bright spot in your day, she never complained and always put everyone else first, she was selfless and caring of others. Her hugs will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure to receive them. When Aubrey hugged you she hugged with her soul and you felt this overwhelming sense of love and comfort from such a special young lady. Aubrey excelled in school and brought joy to all the teachers that she encountered in Beardsley School and Thomas Hooker in Bridgeport, CT. This year Aubrey begun her freshman year at Bullard Havens Tech and already begun to win the hearts of the teachers there as well. Aubrey loved music, dancing, and making videos that we will cherish forever. Such a talented and creative young lady she even taught herself how to play piano and loved to sing and listen to the Burlesque soundtrack on repeat. Aubrey had a bright and energetic personality and was known for her ability to sense when someone needed help. She touched many lives with her kind heart and will be sorely missed by all. Aubrey is survived by her mother and stepfather Yajaira and Heriberto Flores; her brother Jason Vilar Jr; sister Ashley Rojas; Aubrey is also survived by her grandmother and grandfather Maria and Alex Delgado of Bridgeport; her uncles Juan Figueroa and Chris Rojas, aunt Ginelle Rojas; her cousins Tysean Figueroa, Adrian Lopez, Nysia Figueroa and Abel Figueroa, Stephanie and Aniyalei Rojas; in addition Aubrey is also survived by her father Jason Vilar and his wife Irene Baez Mercado of Florida; her sister Zoey Vilar; grandparents Maria Sostre, Ronald Vilar and Ruben Rodas; her aunt Michelle Vilar and a slew of great-aunts and great-uncles, cousins and relatives; and a host friends who will sorely miss her; Aubrey was predeceased by her great grandparents Felix and Rita Lopez. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday December 1, 2020 from 11am-1pm at Community Funeral Chapels, 798 Park Ave in Bridgeport, CT 06604 followed by interment in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
