Asyria Elena Ferrer, age 14, of Stratford, entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, June 1, 2016 after a tragic motor vehicle accident with her aunt Jesenia Valentin and cousin Angelina Rodriguez in Orange County, New York. Asyria was caring, lovable, social and helpful especially to those in need, both people and animals. Her goal was to become a veterinarian to help all types of animals. Asyria admired her aunt Jesenia that was an inspired actress and model. Asyria too enjoyed to entertain, she sang and made music videos. She loved her family and her many friends she was very protective especially over her little cousin Angelina. Asyria attended Flood Middle School in Stratford. She was a honor student, all the teachers loved her. She was often recognized as being of bright respectful student which made her family proud. Asyria was born Tuesday, May 7, 2002 in Orlando, Florida the beloved daughter of surviving mother Victoria Ferrer. Asyria was predeceased by maternal grandmother Camelia Mendez. Asyria is also survived by: maternal grandfather, Alfredo Ferrer; three siblings, Yulanie Ormeo, Alex Ormeo, Joseph Alarcon; and a host of extended family and friends that will cherish her memory.
