Armando Torruellas Armando Torruellas, 82, of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, October 13th, 2010. A proud army veteran who served our country in the Korean War, Armando was also a dedicated employee of US. Surgical in Norwalk and retired after 20 years. Armando is survived by: thirty-five year life companion Maria Torres of Bridgeport, daughter Clara DeLeon of Florida, three sons, Armando Torruellas Jr. of Cromwell, CT., Pedro Torruellas of the Bronx, NY., Rafael & daughter-in-law Erica Torruellas of Derby, CT. and eight grandchildren. Friends may greet the family Wednesday, October 20th, 2010 at 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm in Community Funeral Chapels, 798 Park Avenue, Bridgeport. Internment held Thursday, October 21st, 2010, commencing in Community Funeral Chapels from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, following to State Veterans' Cemetery, 317 Bow lane, Middletown, CT.
