Arlean McLean-Ayton Arlene Mclean-Ayton, 63, of Manchester, New Hampshire, passed away on Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010 at the Tufts Medical Center, Boston, MA. A long time resident of Norwalk and Bridgeport, prior to moving to New Hampshire, she was predeceased by her husband Everett W. Ayton. She was born in Kingston, Jamaica to the late Beniah & Gilda Mclean. She lived in this country for 42 years and last worked at the Mediplex Nursing Facility in Westport for many years. She had volunteered at Bridgeport Hospital, was a Business Owner and an avid reader. She is survived by daughter, Donna D. Ayton and grandchildren John Thompson Jr., Joseph Thompson, and Dimietris Thompson, great grandson, Josiah Thompson. Surviving siblings: Beverly Gordon of London England, Audley Mclean of Florida, Rosemarie Mclean of Bridgeport, Claudia Bryant of NC, Kay Mclean of Jamaica, Lawrence Mclean of Stamford and Laurel Mclean of Bridgeport, several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends who will all cherish her memory. Predeceased by her Sister Lorna Glenn. Funeral services will be held at the Calvary Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 827 Trumbull Avenue, Bridgeport, on Friday, October 8th, 2010 at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery Bridgeport. Arrangements are entrusted to Community Funeral Chapels, 798 Park Ave., Bridgeport.
