Aretha Lenora Ortiz

Aretha Lenora Ortiz, age 33, of Bridgeport, entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 6, 2016. She was the loving mother of five children and the companion of Anthony Walton. Aretha was born in Bridgeport, CT on November 25, 1982, the daughter of Clarence and Maria (Ortiz) Mills. Aretha was an LPN and worked as a caretaker. She will be remembered by how kindhearted and generous she was, along with her great sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. Besides her parents, Aretha is survived by her two sons, Ameer Ortiz, and Amarr Ortiz; and her three daughters Ahtera Ortiz, Aniya Ortiz, and Afinity Ortiz; a sister, Sharena Mills; and a brother Cecil Mills, all of Bridgeport; and a host of friends and extended family. Aretha is predeceased by her siblings, Shalonda Smith and Clarence Mills Jr. Friends may greet the family Saturday, November 19, 2016, 10:00am to 11:00am.
