Antoinette Browne

Antoinette E. Browne, age 84 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest in on Monday, December 18, 2017 in Bridgeport, CT. Antoinette was born March 4, 1933 in Manhattan, New York, the beloved daughter of the late Lester Brown & Vera Burns. She has been a Bridgeport resident for 5 years after relocating from Mt. Vernon, NY. Antoinette worked for many years as a Histologist before her retirement from Fordham Hospital. In her 60's, Antoinette was a certified strength trainer. She was always sure to take care of herself and others. Despite being an amputee, Antoinette took daily walks enjoying nature. She had a ‘green thumb;' and found peace and enjoyment in gardening. Antoinette had a passion for The Lord, and was a member of Messiah Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband of 25 years, Samuel Browne, and her daughter, Elissa Browne. Antoinette is survived by her daughter, Vera Ivery, and her grandchildren, Samuel D. Browne & Ky'el Browne. Interment will be held privately.
