Antoine Similien

Antoine Similien age 64 of Waterbury, CT entered into peaceful rest Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Antoine was a hardworking, business minded man. He had special skills in investing, carpentry work and was a licensed CNA. Antoine was born on Saturday, June 24, 1950 in Port-Au-Prince Haiti to Denise Similien. In 1983 he married his beloved wife Marie Dieunie, who he affectionately called "Dieunie". In 1984 Antoine and Marie migrated to Connecticut. In 1986 they were blessed with their first born son, Jeff Similien and was later blessed with two more children; two girls Ketia and then Judith. Antoine had a strong interest in Connecticut homes and determined in becoming a multiple home investor. He repaired most of his homes alone and even painted his house with a single paintbrush. Antoine had a great work ethic and a vision to expand his real estate. Antoine was very encouraging to his children to get a good education and stable careers. He was a firm believer in Jehovah and study with witnesses. Antoine was predeceased wife Marie Dieunie and mother Denise Similien. Antoine is survived by his three children Jeff, Ketia, and Judith Similien, three sisters, Marie St Juste, Gabrielle Baron, Yollande Joseph, one grandchild, Kayden Bush, and a host of extended family and friends that will cherish his memory. A memorial Service will be held in Antoine honor at Community Funeral Chapels 798 Park Ave. Bridgeport, Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 3:00pm officiated by Elder Eugene Williams of the Kingdom Hall.
