Angel Manuel Velazquez Vargas

Angel Manuel Velazquez-Vargas, age 72, of Bridgeport, widower of Carmen Dolores Velazquez Marcial, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Yale New Haven Hospital, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. Angel was born June 10, 1947 in Camuy, Puerto Rico; the beloved son of the late Pablo Velazquez & Virginia Vargas. Angel was a loving and dedicated father, husband, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many. He was a hardworking and happy man. Angel always had a smile on his face and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He will be missed deeply by all who had the honor of knowing him. Angel is survived by his: daughter, Betzaida Velazquez; son, Angel J. Velazquez; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
