Angel "Angie" Melendez

Angel "Angie" Melendez, age 52, of Plainsville, entered into peaceful rest Wednesday, October 31st, 2012. Angie was an animal lover. He worked in the Bridgeport Kennel for many years. He was admired by the hospital staff for his strength. Angie had a great love for music, he played the guitar and congas and listened to salsa music all the time. Angie always thought of others before himself, he was a very giving and loving brother, uncle and friend. Angel was born September 27th, 1960 in Bridgeport, CT., the son of the late Primitivo and Santos Melendez. Angie is survived by: brother Jimmy (Lillian) Melendez of Southington, four nieces Elisa (Omar) Carrion, Teresa Melendez, Christina Melendez, Lillian Melendez, one nephew Luis (Amanda) Delvalle, three great nephews Omar Carrion, Jeremiah Carrion, Zaire Bailey, two great nieces Gabryela Carrion, and Alaina Marisol Delvalle, all of Bridgeport.
