Andrew Alvin 'Elvis' Allen

Andrew Alvin "Elvis" Allen, age 40, entered into eternal peace Friday, June 7th, 2013 in Brdigeport, CT. Andrew was born Friday, January 26th, 1973 in Westmoreland, Jamaica the beloved son of Arnold Allen and Lousie Williams. Andrew and his family relocated to the United States when he was five years old and beginning first grade. Known to friends and family as Elvis, he loved music and shared that love as a DJ in Jamaican clubs around Connecticut. Elvis was also a talented chef, whose culinary creations, especially his jerk pork, were always sought after at family and community gatherings. Ever the optimist, Elvis' glass was never half empty he saw the best in everyone and everything around him and could always be counted on for a smile and a laugh. Elvis' radiant smile, sunny disposition and sense of humor were ever present, his bear hugs and belly laugh will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Andrew is taken too soon from his beloved daughter, Adassa Allen of Georgia, and his loving mother, Louise Williams of Redding, CT. He also leaves behind older brother, US Army Major Calvin Allen, currently stationed in Kansas, ad Major Allen's family.
