Allan Earl Mccloud

Allan Earl McCloud, age 65, departed this life on Friday, October 8, 2021 in Bridgrport, CT. He was born on November 16, 1955 in Danbury, Connecticut to Forney and Elizabeth McCloud. Earl, as he was best known, grew up in Danbury, CT. Here is where he matriculated through school at Hayestown Ave. School and graduated from Danbury High School. Earl was a loving and kind man. A "gentle giant." Earl grew up in a loving and caring household. A household where he was "Uncle Earl" to both his sisters' children. The family church he attended in his youth was Mt. Pleasant A.M.E. Zion Church in Danbury, CT. There he was surrounded by family and met many childhood friends in Danbury. Earl has always showed himself to be loving to all his family and friends both near and far. Everyone who knew him knew of his passion for music. He loved to listen to music and he was a true percussionist. A true drummers drummer. He played drums in a band with family and friends. Earl was instrumental in sharing his passion for music and movies with us all. He was the family TV Guide. He was known for calling to let you know a good "flick" was on. When any of the music awards shows were on, you could expect your call with the station and time. The real love behind this was he actually remembered your phone numbers to call you. Earl was predeceased by his parents, Forney and Elizabeth McCloud and his sister, Beverly Ann McCloud Chambers (Calvin). He leaves behind to cherish his loving memories, his sister, Barbara; brothers, Roy and William; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, many cousins, as well as aunts and an uncle.
