Alisha Sincere Cosme, 45, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, she was named by her father, Roberto Sixto Estaban Cosme, Jr. As she grew and became herself, she transitioned into the woman she was meant to be.

For those who knew her, Alisha was funny, bold, and unapologetically herself—often laughing at her own jokes while putting anyone in their place when needed. She loved her makeup, eating, and she cleaned with a passion, never leaving a speck of dust behind. She walked through life as if on a runway, grabbing what was available and sharing her heart generously with those she cared for.

Alisha was the youngest child of Rosa Cosme (Miguel Lopez) and the late Roberto Cosme, and the cherished sibling of Marissa (Damon) Artis, Rebecca (Andrew) Gardner, Camila “Bebe” (Jeff Thomas) Cosme, and Inez “Cathy” (Jose) Vazquez.

Alisha leaves to mourn her passing a loving abundance of nephews —Jayvon Nesmith, Arkel Miles, Jose Vazquez, Damonte Gee, James “Trey” Buster III, Justin Vazquez, Jaedyn Buster, and Darion Artis. and nieces—Nyesha Gee, Octavia Buster, Danesha Gee, Nashyra Buster, Dayniera Artis, and Brionna Davis. Although there are many great-nieces & great-nephews, she held extra love for her great-niece Luna Hill. She is predeceased by her nephew Adrian Joshua Miles.

Alisha will be remembered for her smile, resilience, and relationship with family and friends. Her presence and spirit will be deeply missed.
