Alicia Pelaez Diaz

Alicia Pelaez Diaz, age 78, of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 15th, 2012 at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Alicia was widowed by Jose Pablo Diaz and migrated to Connecticut in 2004. She was a religious, sweet and loving soul who enjoyed cooking for others. Alicia was born on June 7th, 1934 in Antioquia, Colombia the daughter of the late Dolores Rincon and Manuel Pelaez. She was youngest of six children. Alicia is survived by: four offspring, Jose Nelson Diaz, Leon Byron Diaz, Gloria Luz Mazo, Birman Diaz, five siblings, Julio Hiro Pelaez, Eulalio Pelalez, Marco Tullio Pelaez, Margarita Pelaez, Herlinda Pelaez, six grandchildren Monica Mazo, Katalina Mazo, Andres Diaz, Estiven Diaz, Sara Isabel Atehortua, Valentina Atehortua, one great grandchild Brianna Jacques, a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memories. Alicia reunites with her predeceased son, Cesar Augosto Diaz.
