Alfredo 'Manfredo' Andino Ayala

Alfredo Andino aka as Manfredo, age 80, of Bridgeport, entered into heavenly rest Wednesday, October 5th 2016 in Bridgeport Hospital with his loving family by his side. Alfredo was born April 9th 1936 in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico the fifth of eight of the late Miguel Andino & Virginia Ayala. At the age of 19 he migrated to Connecticut married former spouse Maria Andino and fathered four children. Alfredo was a man of a few words, who expressed himself through his writing of short poetry song known as decimas, along with his art and comic creations. He was known to many as a great folk singer (travador). In his pass time he enjoyed gardening, sharing his crops and seeds. He loved his entire family and was loved by many. Besides his parents Alfredo is predeceased by: daughter, Marilyn Ayala; three sisters, Elisa Andino, Leonides Andino, Mercedes Vasquez; two brothers, Antonio Andino, and Miguel Angel Andino. Alfredo is survived by: three sons, Alfredo Andino Jr; Miguel Andino, Antonio Andino; two sisters, Margarita Maldonado, Carmen D. Diaz; six grandchildren, AlJovone "Joey" Andino, Shavonne Andino, Sheila Ayala, Laisha Andino, Antonio Andino Jr., Ashley Andino; and four great grandchildren all of Bridgeport.
