Alexis Ramos Sr., age 59, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, entered into heavenly rest on May 6, 2024, at his home. Born on May 11, 1964, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Alexis was the beloved son of Oriali Ramos and Cristina Lopez. He was raised in a large, loving household with eight siblings, where he developed a passion for reading, drawing, calligraphy, and movies.
Alexis dedicated many years of his professional life to working for FedEx, where he was known as a hardworking and reliable provider. A devoted father, Alexis was blessed with six children and a step daughter from his former marriage to Yvette Ramos, Mary C. Palmer and Carol McFadden.
Alexis is survived by his children: Alexis Ramos Jr., Alicia Ramos, Quintin Ramos, Alexis Ramos III, Adriana Ramos, and Jordan Ramos. He also leaves behind his siblings, Glidden Ramos and Richard Lopez, Ortexis Ramos and Saraliz Rivera, as well as his cherished grandchildren: Alenaja Ramos, Roemelli Agosto, Raineir Agosto, Amari Ramos, Allahn Ramos, and Alexis Ramos IV and many other grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to honor Alexis’s memory on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, from 6 to 8 PM at Community Funeral Chapels, located at 798 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. For more information, please call 203-334-9999. Interment will be held privately.
