Alexandrina Jurebie

Alexandrina Jurebie, age 90, of Bridgeport, passed away on August 21, 2015 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Bucharest, Romania, Alexandrina came to the United States with her sisters in 1981 and had been a Bridgeport resident since that time. She was a longtime member of St. Dimitrie Romanian Orthodox Church and Ladies Auxiliary, sang in the church choir and in The Combine Orthodox Churches choir for over 30 years. Survivors include: nephews Andrei Colimitra and his wife Caterina, Gabriel Rusu and his wife Julia, their children Anton and Alexandru, a niece Andrea Montini and her husband Raymond, Radu Rusu, Gabriel Popescu and his wife Raluca, their children Miruna and Sabrina, a cousin Dean Jurebie and his wife Ruth as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins here and in Romania. Alexandrina was predeceased by her brother Jean Jurebie and sisters Maria Marcela, Evghenia Jurebie Colimitra and her husband Constantin, Eleonora Jurebie and her niece Vasila Biruinta Colimitra Rusu. Funeral services will be held at St. Dimitrie Romanian Orthodox Church, 504 Sport Hill Rd., Easton with burial in Lakeview Cemetery 885 Boston Ave. Bridgeport, CT. Friends may call, Tuesday, August 25, 2015 from 10 AM to 11 AM follow by the religious service.
