Alecia Renee Washington Alecia Renee Washington, age 32, entered into peaceful rest on Saturday, August 6th, 2011 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Alecia was born in Norwalk, CT on September 13th, 1978 to Pamela McFadden-Lewis and the late George C. Washington. Alecia was very intelligent, articulate and gifted. She loved sports, music, reading and drawing. Prior to her illness, Alecia was an accomplished athlete, excelling in basketball, softball and gymnastics. She had attained a green belt in Karate and was a graduate of the Bridgeport public schools. She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother Pamela Lewis and her brother, George A. Washington; maternal grandfather, Rudolph McFadden; paternal grandmother, Sally Washington; companion, Edward Abbott and special friend, Stacey Tiska, her dog, Bengi, her cat, Magic and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She will be deeply missed. Friends may greet the family on Friday, August 12th, 2011 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm in Community Funeral Chapels, located at 798 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, Connecticut.
