Alecia Pendergrass

1966 — 2025

Alecia Pendergrass, lovingly known as Lisa, age 59, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025, at Stamford Hospital.

Lisa was born on February 24, 1966, in Brooklyn, New York, to Gladys Williams and the late Ernest Lee Williams Jr. She grew up with three siblings, Eric Lee Williams, Ernest Lee Williams, and Donnel Lee Williams.

Lisa’s personality was musical in every way—she loved music deeply and filled every room with rhythm and joy. She adored palm trees and hearts, symbols that reflected her warmth and love for life. Always the first to lend a helping hand and the last to leave the dance floor, Lisa’s presence was vibrant, compassionate, and unforgettable. To know her was truly to love her.

She is survived by her beloved mother, Gladys Williams; her two brothers; her cherished children, daughter Ashira Pendergrass and son Shaun Wells; and her three precious grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father, Ernest Lee Williams Jr., and her brother Donnel Lee Williams.
