Albert "Scootermotor" Slocum Albert "Scootermotor" Slocum, age 82, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 13, 2008. A resident of Bridgeport for over 40 years. Albert was retired from Heppenstall Co. Albert was born to the late Levi & Mahalia Slocum in Bogulsa, LA. Loved by surviving spouse Jaluhia and his children Pat, Kim, Melodie, and Albert Slocum Jr., many step children and 6 grandchildren. Survived by a brother Clinton & Helen Slocum, sisters, Vera Ward and Juanita Draughn. Albert was predeceased by daughter Toni, brother Eugene Slocum, sisters Hilda Davis, and Thelma Rudolph. The family will receive friends Friday, November 21, 2008 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Community Funeral Chapels, located at 798, Park Ave., Bridgeport, CT.
