Adela Sanchez, age 87 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Adela was born August 14, 1930 in Manati, Puerto Rico, the beloved daughter of the late Sinforiano Sanchez & Maria Rosario. Adela was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. In addition to her parents, Adela was predeceased by her husband of 20 years, Pedro Rodriguez. Adela is survived by: three sons; Pedro Rodriguez, Jorge Rodriguez, and Angel L. Rodriguez (Fanny Gonzalez); six grandchildren; Jorge Rodriguez, Robert Rodriguez, Nixa L. Rodriguez, Ivette Rodriguez, Enid Rodriguez, and Lissette Rodriguez; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.
