Obituary for Victor Manuel "Vitin" Lopez
Victor Manuel Lopez Ortiz, age 76, of Ansonia, passed into peaceful rest Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at St. Joseph Manor Trumbull, CT.
Victor was born Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico on October 19, 1946 the beloved son of the late Florentino Lopez & Eularia Ortiz and was affectionately known as Vitin . Victor was raised in a Catholic household with only one older brother Florentino Lopez Jr. His religious beliefs were instilled in him and was a man of faith throughout his lifetime. He worked for General Electric for many years. Victor loved to be around his family and friends, he was a kind and loving father, uncle, cousin and friend.
Victor is survived by: son, Victor M. Lopez Jr. & daughter-in-law Blanca Lopez of Bridgeport; daughter, Janet Lopez-Pabon & son-in-law Victor M. Pabon of Ansonia; 7 grandchildren, Michael R. Tate of Ansonia, Ayanna T. Lopez of Bridgeport, Victor E. Lopez of Bronx, New York, Matthew P. Lopez of Minnesota, Kyana T. Lopez of Bridgeport, Sky M. Fernandez of Ansonia, Brianna M. Lopez of Bridgeport; step-granddaughters Delitza Santiago of Bridgeport, Amanda Santiago Bridgeport, Anna-Celia Sotomayor of Bridgeport; 2 great-grandsons, Elijah R. Tate of Bridgeport, Leo W. Class Bridgeport; 3 great-granddaughters, Madyson Lopez of Florida, Aaliyah Lopez of Minnesota, Souleen Lopez of Bronx, New York; 5 step-grandchildren all from Bridgeport, CT; and a host of extended family and friends that will cherish his memory.
